Description: Jimmy, Carl, Sheen, Cindy and Libby set off for Mars where they have discovered a new source of power that could revolutionize the energy industry forever. But the billionaire boy Eustace Strytch has found out about the groundbreaking discovery, and now he’s heading to Mars too with the sole intent of monopolizing the power industry back home. It’s a race through space and across the surface of Mars. 7:30pm - The Fairly Oddparents #77:Timmy the Barbarian/No Substitute for Crazy
Description: (A) Binky’s sick, so Jorgen shows up with some soup and a bedtime story to make him feel better. The story is “Timmy the Barbarian,” and as Jorgen tells it to Binky, poor Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda find themselves actually living it! It’s the tale of a boy looking for the cherished Chalice of Mome, and when he can’t find it in his locker or bookbag, he wishes the entire world was a vast wasteland that he, Timmy the Barbarian, could conquer as he searched. Timmy sets out with his companions, Nagules (Wanda) and Cosmodius, who’s now a pack mule, through scary worlds inhabited by giant trolls (Francis), harpies (Vicky) and even evil wizards (Mr. Crocker)! Throughout, Jorgen is having a great time telling the tale, reliving the parts of it that cause Cosmo pain over and over again. Finally Timmy learns that the evil wizard has the chalice, and with the help of some heavy duty nagging by his companion Nagules, is able to defeat the wizard and take possession of the chalice. Turns out it’s not a chalice after all, it’s a mug he made in school for Mother’s Day. Timmy says goodbye to his barbarian ways and returns home to present his gift. Meanwhile Jorgen goes in search of another sick fairy so he can tell a different tale and inflict more pain on Cosmo!
(B) When Mr. Crocker falls out a window trying to prove Timmy has fairy godparents, the substitute teacher who replaces him turns out to be a dream come true. Or so Timmy thinks when he wishes Mrs. Sunshine could be his permanent teacher. She spent her first day encouraging the children to try and promising not to fail anyone. Unfortunately, now that she’s permanent, she reveals her true self: she’s really Miss Doombringer, a fairy hunter! She’s certain someone in the classroom has a fairy and she’s come to do some hunting! Timmy’s desperate to undo the wish, but when Miss Doombringer places a butterfly net over the school, he can’t just wish her away. He cons Elmer into letting him paint a fairy on his boil, and while Miss Doombringer is distracted, he takes Cosmo and Wanda through the Crocker Cave. Unfortunately, Miss Doombringer is on to him, and soon Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda are running for their lives! They get outside, only to be thwarted by heavy traffic. That’s when they’re saved by an unlikely hero – Mr. Crocker, who uses his power as the crossing guard (a demotion he received when Timmy made his wish) to stop traffic for Timmy but not for the job-stealing substitute! Miss Doombringer is swept away in the rush of traffic, and Mr. Crocker vows to fail Timmy as soon as he returns to teaching.

8:00pm - SpongeBob #75B: That's No Lady

So he talks Jimmy into creating a high-tech costume that he can wear to convince his son that he is in fact a superhero. With the perfect clothes and gadgets in place, Mr. Estevez transforms himself into El Magnifico; air conditioning repairman by day, crime fighter by night. Mr. E has Sheen totally convinced, until the El Magnifico suit malfunctions and the father and son find themselves in real danger.

The "Best Day Ever"? 24 hours of Spongebob. Wow, who stays up on a Thursday night until like 3 am and watches Spongebob reruns? Worst. Idea. Ever.

Sorry - so Nick isn't releasing info on Fridays again? I don't know why they stopped that...

Spongebob does have some sort of teen and college following who would be willing to do so.

Actually not a bad idea to move Mr. Meaty premieres to Sat. mornings. The 9-10:30 block right now is very popular with Spongebob and FOP. Now I don't watch the show but I can see where they're coming from. Maybe Danny Phantom will come back to 8:30 on Fridays after Avatar?

Errr, I'll have to wait to see ratings for the Best Day Ever thing. Things are so much clearer with hindsight. The way they are marketing it though...why don't they do it on a day when kids will be home from school the next day? i.e. Thanksgiving break.
