"Goodbye" - After learning of the unexpected death of Paul, Cate and the kids must each deal with the loss of the beloved patriarch of the Hennessy family in their own way. To help console the family, Cate's parents - who are separated -- put aside their marital differences and help the family through their time of need. James Garner and Suzanne Pleshette guest star as Cate's parents, on a special one-hour episode of "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," TUESDAY, NOV. 4 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
"8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter" stars Katey Sagal as Cate Hennessy, Kaley Cuoco as Bridget Hennessy, Amy Davidson as Kerry Hennessy and Martin Spanjers as Rory Hennessy.
"8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
