New Nickelodeon Logo
After 25 years, Nickelodeon is changing the logo across their networks beginning this fall.

That's rather pointless. The old one worked with the whole slime motif. Then again, they really don't do that much anymore, do they?

Just for the Kids Choice Awards, but even then they barely acknowledge the origin of slime on the network...

Oh yeah, just for kicks, the original Nickelodeon logo they used until 1984.

WHAT?!! They're changing the logo they've had for almost 30 years? That's ridiculous, especially seeing that their new logo looks too bland. They should have at least put some kind of background behind the text.

I don't have any images of the other networks yet, but word is they're just as bland as Nickelodeon's and TeenNick's

Wow! I don't remember that logo. It looks kinda nifty.

Yeah they also included guidelines for the naming of their networks:

Nickelodeon
Nick Jr.
TeenNick
Nicktoons
Nick@Nite

Not sure if they even realize Nick 2 (the west coast feed with alt graphics) still exists.

The rebranding took place this morning, not sure if you all noticed, but they also retrofitted all Nickelodeon original programming with the new logo at the end of the credits.
